Community Guidelines
Practical rules for a useful, respectful, and safer local marketplace.
1. Create honest listings
Listings must include:
- Truthful descriptions and realistic, accurate photos.
- The correct category and a clear price where applicable.
- Accurate information about condition, location, and availability.
Do not post duplicate or spam listings or intentionally mislead other users. Only use photos and content that you have the right to share.
2. Prohibited items and listings
Do not list items whose sale, possession, or distribution is unlawful or restricted without required authorization. Prohibited listings include:
- Stolen or counterfeit goods.
- Illegal drugs.
- Weapons or explosives prohibited by law.
- Fraudulent documents.
- Malware or stolen digital accounts.
- Sexual services or explicit sexual content.
- Human trafficking or exploitation.
- Items promoting violence or criminal activity.
- Goods that infringe intellectual-property rights.
- Scams or deceptive listings.
For regulated or age-restricted products, users are responsible for following applicable laws. Loula may restrict categories when necessary.
3. Treat people respectfully
Do not engage in:
- Threats, harassment, hate, or abusive behavior.
- Scams, spam, impersonation, or phishing.
- Requests for passwords or verification codes.
Keep messages relevant to marketplace activity and do not pressure or repeatedly contact people who do not wish to continue a conversation.
4. Trade with care
Meet in a safe public place when appropriate, inspect items before paying, avoid advance payments to people you do not trust, and never share passwords or verification codes. Loula connects users directly and does not guarantee transactions.
5. Report concerns
Use Loula's reporting functionality for suspicious listings or behavior. Provide accurate context and do not misuse reports to target another user.
